News > Freeplay Energy at the DIHAD Exhibition and Conference 2007, Dubai

In April 2007, Freeplay Energy exhibited at the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development (DIHAD) exhibition and conference, the largest humanitarian event in the Middle East.
The event allowed those working within the aid and development sector to come together and share ideas as a collective, thereby creating the means to improve and better move forward to address some of the crucial issues facing the aid and development sector today.
The DIHAD event comprised of an exhibition and conference with the keynote this year given by Mr. Jean-Marie Fakhouri, Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General And Humanitarian / Reconstruction Coordinator for Iraq, United Nations Assistance Mission to Iraq (UNAMI).
The exhibition that ran alongside the conference brought together under one roof international NGOs, aid agencies and 250 companies, like Freeplay Energy, that specialise in supplying appropriate goods and services for disaster response operations, humanitarian aid projects and development programmes.
Freeplay Energy demonstrated its broad range of self-sufficient energy products at its exhibit, which garnered significant attention from international NGOs, aid agencies and important representatives in the aid and development sector.
Freeplay Energy would like to extend their thanks to the procurement and logistics officials from NGOs and UN Agencies who attended the event and gave Freeplay their support. We made some great connections. We are looking forward to next year, DIHAD 2008!
