I bought two of these. One for the kitchen and one for the bathroom when we have power outages. [ Last October we went 8 days without electricity.] I was so impressed by them I bought two more. I marked each one either odd or even, and on the first of each month I recharge two of them. As an area light they make it easy to see and get around a large room. Turn down the dimmer and they are an excellant night light. The side beam light is bright enough to read by when set on a table next to an open book. They provide all the light you really need to live without commercial power, and you can simply crank them up when the battery finnally does run down with out waiting for sunlight to use a solar panel. They appear well made too, unlike most department store 'emergency lights'. I recomend them!

Been using Freeplay products since 2008. I work in the security sector looking after buildings and in places there is no electricity I rely on freeplay products.I really like the Indigo. It`s very robust and can handle the constant charging by hand. The single LED light is very directional and last for hours on end and ideal for reading a book. The other light is good 360 and lights a table top and the area of a room with no problems. I found this device very handy during a powercut and also ideal for using in a tent for camping as it was easy to hang it up...Mine gets good use!! I`m glad I purchased it.
