"Don't bother with any other hand cranked lantern, this beats them all. I know because I have bought and tested them all. - The main improvement over others is the alternator design - utilizing rare earth Neodymium magnets that are up to 10 times stronger than ceramic magnets found in all other designs. An improvement might be to include a small solar panel on the top, but I am guessing this would increase the final price."
