Self-Charge

Freeplay's patented self-charge mechanism is the world's most efficient human energy conversion system.  The winder can be cranked in both directions and the harder you crank, the more energy you create.  A crank level LED indicates the optimum winding speed, but only limitation to how much energy you can create and store is you.

AC

With a suitable AC adapter (mini USB), you can charge the Jonta from the wall.  A 6-hour charge fully charges the flashlight.

An AC adapter (mini USB) is included with this purchase however, you can use any "mini-USB" AC adapter.  Many newer cellphones and digital cameras use the same adapter, so you may already have one.

Battery level

Depressing the switch for 2 seconds displays the battery charge level.  A warning light flashes when the battery voltage is very low.
