With digital auto-scan, 30 presents, four wavebands, an alarm clock radio and a solar panel, the Summit is a fully featured radio even before you get to the unbeatable wind-up dynamo that will keep the music playing wherever you are in the world. You may well be able to get better standard multi-band radios for less, but few will be as satisfying to use, or as well built as this one.

"I have had a Summit radio for several years and it has always worked flawlessly. I have especially enjoyed the shortwave function and solar/wind up power capability during extended trips into the Yukon &Alaska where I could only receive shortwave and we were without power for long periods. The reception is very good for a small radio. The sound quality is excellant."
